I'm Sam

I’m a documentary-style wedding and portrait photographer with a true-to-color approach, focused on capturing real moments as they naturally unfold. My goal is simple: to create images that feel honest, calm, and reflective of what your day actually felt like.

Most people tell me they’re not comfortable in front of the camera, and that’s completely normal. I’m experienced at guiding people just enough to feel at ease, without turning the experience into a production or pulling you out of the moment. The result is natural, unforced images that still feel intentional.

I photograph with an emphasis on flow, connection, and storytelling — paying attention to the moments that matter, without over-directing or rushing the process. I bring a steady presence with just enough humor to keep things relaxed when nerves kick in or plans shift unexpectedly.''

Outside of photography, I’m usually at home with my husband and our three kids, which has taught me a lot about patience, flexibility, and staying calm when things don’t go exactly as planned — skills that turn out to be just as useful during a portrait session as they are on a wedding day.It’s an honor to be trusted with something this meaningful, and I don’t take that lightly.

For most U.S. locations, travel is included with Immersive coverage.

FOCUSED

Best for the majority of weddings.

Ideal for ceremony and reception days that don’t require full-day scope.

Includes light timeline guidance as needed to support a smooth, un-rushed day.

Travel is handled simply based on location.

INTIMATE

Best for micro weddings that don’t need extended coverage.
